The popular Summer Challenge is usually presented at the May meeting and finished projects are shown at the November meeting. Challenges might ask the stitcher to use only variations of one stitch or to stitch only with the colors included or to design a canvas around a particular shape. Each challenge is different and all members have enjoyed expanding their stitching experience.
For one Summer Challenge, stitchers were to shop somewhere you wouldn’t find needlepoint supplies, make purchases, and incorporate those purchases into their stitching.
